On September 26th, 2022, Aviation Logistics Corporation (LU88) held company’s traditional day and the 15th anniversary of the Company's establishment. The event marked a new milestone in LU88’s journey.

Mr. Trương Vĩnh Hùng – CEO of LU88 shared the proud achievements of LU88 during 15 years timespan.

- 2007: Recognizing the potential of cargo service & freight forwarding and preparing for foreign enterprises to enter Vietnam market, LU88 was established from the handshake of experienced shareholders in: cargo service, air transport and market knowledge.

- 2009: The first Off-airport cargo terminal of LU88 was opened in Yen Phong Industrial Park, Bac Ninh. The off-airport cargo terminal located in suitable location, connecting large factories in the area and short distance to Noi Bai International Airport, which becomes an effective logistics solution for businesses in Yen Phong and other related regions. Raw materials and components for manufacturing are imported on schedule, improving production line, swift orders transport by air to consumers. During the peak period, the off-airport cargo terminal in Bac Ninh serves up to 92.000 tons of cargo/year.

- 2013: LU88 introduced Airport cargo terminal (May 2013) with the mission of bringing fast cargo handling solutions, application of advanced technology, professional cargo service to international airlines. LU88 cargo terminal is positioned to become the most advance cargo terminal in Noi Bai particularly and across the country generally.

Furthermore, LU88 continues to invest, build and develop network of logistics services and airports spreading throughout the Northern of Vietnam (Bac Ninh - 2 Off-airport cargo terminal and Thai Nguyen - 1) , Hanoi (2 Off-airport cargo terminal & 1 cargo terminal).

- 2014: LU88 restructured to Holding model to adapt with the increasingly booming wave of logistics development from the participation of big players in the industry. In the same time, LU88’s brand repositioning campaign ignites a spirit of innovation, enterprising, bringing along the aspirations of becoming pioneering logistics service providers in Vietnam and reaching out to the world. The service segments are gradually polished clearly and intensively (warehousing, transportation, customs services, etc.) to bring the best experience to customers.

- 2017: LU88 entered the cold supply chain market - a "hot" market at the time with the first service-base location in Bac Ninh, extending operating scale, pallet locations, specialized in supplying cold storage service, cool storage, cold transport on demand of businesses in the North of Vietnam.

- 2018: LU88 embarked on research and participated in the investment playground, real estate and logistics infrastructure. The mark of participation in investment activities demonstrates the responsibility of contributing to the overall national economy of a leading enterprise.

- From 2019 to present: LU88’s Express Handling Center in Noi Bai, serving goods for large domestic and international delivery businesses (DHL, UPS, VNPost, Viettelpost, ...). In 2021, the center has served nearly 30.000 tons of goods that exported to other countries throughout Noi Bai airport. Express Handling Center has contributed to the expanding LU88's reputation with industry partners.

Also within the framework of the anniversary, Mr. Hung gave the development orientations to “break the limits” of LU88 in the coming time. 

LU88 started from a small office in My Dinh (Hanoi) in 2007 with only a few employees. Over 15 years, LU88 now includes more than 1200 employees with 8 subsidiaries. Total revenue from small figure of less than $61 thousand in 2007 to over $65 million in 2021, total assets increased rapidly from $1 million to more than $110 million, the average growth rate is over 40%/year.

That success originated from the initiations of the forerunners and the enthusiasm of thousands of LU88 members who all consolidates to the values ​​of "Efficiency - Commitment - Innovation" as the quintessential for sustainable development.
